suzuki socks split

Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price is set to make his season debut on Friday and he will have to be on his toes. Luckily, he is already on teammate Nick Suzuki.

The Canadiens forward sported some fun socks featuring the cartoon likeness of his All-Star teammate and proudly displayed them for the camera on his way into Bell Centre before facing the New York Islanders.

Price has not played since July 7, which was Game 5 of the 2021 Stanley Cup Final. He had
knee surgery on July 22
. On October 7, he entered the NHL/NHLPA program
for substance use
.
But on Friday he is slated to return to his familiar spot between the pipes and Suzuki and the rest of the Canadiens were in a celebratory mood about it.
Price's kids were also pretty pumped about the idea of their dad getting back out on the ice.

Price's wife and young daughters were in the front row holding a "We love u Dada" sign.
Canadiens fans in attendance broke out the big applause when Price was announced to the crowd before the game.

The Bell Centre erupted for the six-time All-Star.
