Presented in collaboration with Bell and Desjardins, the event aims at supporting the efforts of the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation to provide a brighter and healthier future for children in need, and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle among Quebec youth.
From 5 pm on, studio hosts from RDS and Sportsnet as well as both radio stations will be inviting listeners to make a pledge to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation. Members of the Montreal Canadiens family will be on hand during various shows aired by our broadcasters. At the Bell Centre, Chantal Machabée from RDS will be on site to conduct interviews. Canadiens Alumni, including Guy Lafleur, Réjean Houle, Yvan Cournoyer, the current player's spouses as well as many Quebec celebrities will be working the phones to receive pledges from the general public until the end of the hockey game between the Canadiens and the Boston Bruins.

The RadioTéléDON #ourGOALtoASSIST now replaces the Radio-Telethon usually held in March. Over the past seven years, the Foundation raised over $700,000 through this event.

The Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation is determined to provide a better and healthier future for children in need. Since its inception in August 2000, the Foundation has donated close to $25 million to over 700 charitable endeavours throughout the province of Quebec working for the well-being of underprivileged children.
