Forward Nikolay Kulemin left practice early Tuesday, and coach Jack Capuano said he will be a game-time decision after sustaining an injury on Sunday. "If he can go, great, if he can't, then we obviously will have to switch the lines," Capuano said. The likely replacement would be rookie Mathew Barzal, who has been a healthy scratch in five of New York's six games. "I've always said I'd like to get him in there, we just have to try and find the right time," Capuano said. Rookie forward Anthony Beauvillier grew up a Canadiens fan in Quebec. "It's going to be special," he said of playing Montreal. "It's going to be a hard game obviously. They have a pretty good team with their new guys like [Shea] Weber and [Andrew] Shaw, so it's going to be a hard game for us tonight." The 19-year-old has five points in five games. "I don't live for points here, I'm just trying to stay in the lineup and buy another game every day. I've played well so far so I just have to keep going." Goaltender Thomas Greiss, who got the win Sunday in a 6-3 victory against the Minnesota Wild, is expected to start. This is the final game of a five-game homestand for the Islanders, who've won three of the first four. They play at the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday.
