Marchand presser

Brad Marchand is gunning for a new position with the Boston Bruins.

The Bruins forward decided to step into head coach Jim Montgomery's shoes and give out lineup updates to the media during his morning press conference on Thursday.

Marchand started off his press conference with a chirp saying he has more hair than Montgomery after a media member called him coach.
A reporter then asked the Bruins alternate captain if he had any injury updates.
"Yeah, what do you want to know?" Marchand responded.
First up was Taylor Hall, who Marchand thought was good to go against the Montreal Canadiens.
"I mean he [Hall] looks pretty good, no? I think he is playing tonight," Marchand said.
The veteran forward had to ask the media which goalie played last game when asked who was in net.
"Ully [was], then Sway's playing," Marchand said.
In typical Marchand fashion, he ended his lineup updates with another chirp when asked about Nick Foligno.
"Still old…still old still bald. I don't think that's coming back."
Coach Marchand does have a nice ring to it.
