brady lebron split

What would it look like if two GOATs competed head-to-head in a sport neither of them have ever played competitively?
Legendary Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady wants to find out.

Brady took to Twitter on Monday, an idle day between the first and second rounds of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and challenged Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James to a hockey shootout.
Brady's rules were simple: 5 rounds, and on ice, not street surface.

It didn't come out of nowhere. James tweeted he was doing a Q&A and that fans should ask when ready. Brady jumped right in the fray.
Needless to say, hockey fans, football fans, basketball fans and nearly all living, breathing human beings replied that they would like to see this happen.
The Tampa Bay Lightning, the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions who will take on the in-state rival Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference Second Round beginning Tuesday, offered their assistance.

The Columbus Blue Jackets, the NHL team that shares a home state with James' native city of Akron, also are ready to set up the challenge.

EA Sports, makers of the super-popular NHL video game series, wants to add an incentive for the winner.

James replied to Brady on Monday night, saying James would win, but not by much.

The other details were light. Would there be a goalie? How far are they shooting from? Slap shots or wristers or full on penalty shot-style? Is there even a stick long enough for the 6-foot-9 James?
But let's just get a time and place set and we can all figure out the rest later.
