Even though Andrei Svechnikov's injury is keeping him off the ice, it's not keeping him from making noise in the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Carolina Hurricanes forward - who had
season-ending surgery
back in March - rang in the playoffs by cranking the siren before Game 1 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the New York Islanders at PNC Arena on Monday.

Svechnikov rang the siren while cracking a wide smile the entire time.
The high-scoring forward tore his ACL in mid-March ending his season, but he's still contributing where he can.
