It's kind of unfair to ask a goalie to stop a shot that even the net can't.

Colorado Avalanche forward Andre Burakovsky fired a wrist shot so hard, it not only beat Nashville Predators goalie Connor Ingram, it beat the twine.

Burakovsky knew it too, throwing his hands up in celebration. But, because the puck broke through the back of the net, it was unclear in real time if the puck went in or hit the side of the netting. Play continued for nearly a minute, but, upon review, the Avalanche were awarded the goal.

The first goal of Game 4 of the Western Conference First Round could easily be the strangest, and the strongest.
