Ducks at Capitals postponed by severe weather

NEW YORK -- Friday's game between the Anaheim Ducks and Washington Capitals at Verizon Center, NHL Game No. 704, has been postponed due to the severe snowstorm impacting the Washington, D.C., area.

A makeup date will be announced as soon as it can be confirmed.
A decision regarding Sunday's Pittsburgh Penguins at Washington Capitals game at Verizon Center, NHL Game No. 720, will be announced Saturday morning.
