John Gibson made 42 saves for the Anaheim Ducks in a 3-2 shootout win against the San Jose Sharks in a preseason game at SAP Center in San Jose on Monday.

Mason McTavish
and Trevor Zegras scored for the Ducks (2-3-0), who lost their previous three games.
Tomas Hertl tied the game at 15:03 of the third period, and Logan Couture scored for the Sharks (2-2-1). James Reimer made 23 saves.
