Ovi-fans 4-10

Alex Ovechkin may have been a healthy scratch in the Washington Capitals' final game of the regular season on Sunday, but he still got a workout.
The Capitals' captain, who had a hat trick Saturday to reach 50 goals for the third straight season and seventh time in his career, was at Verizon Center walking around the concourse talking to and high-fiving fans.

Ovechkin and several other regulars were scratched against the Anaheim Ducks to rest for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which begin Wednesday.

Goalie Braden Holtby, who tied the single-season record for wins with 48, also did not start.
