Maple Leafs Recall Michael Hutchinson

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has recalled goaltender Michael Hutchinson from the Toronto Marlies (AHL). 

Hutchinson, 29, posted a record of 2-3-0 with a 2.64 goals against average and a .914 save percentage in five appearances with the Maple Leafs after he was acquired in a trade with the Florida Panthers on December 29, 2018. In 23 games with the Marlies, the Barrie, Ontario native has registered a 14-5-3 record with a 2.70 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage. 

In 111 career NHL appearances, Hutchinson owns a 46-43-13 record with a 2.70 goals-against average, a .908 save percentage, and four shutouts.
