SEATTLE (Sept. 29, 2026) – The Seattle Kraken, , today announced the 2026-27 regional broadcast schedule. Beginning with the season opener on October 1 at Calgary, 77 regular-season games will be available in the state of Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, giving deeper access to the Seattle Kraken and their favorite players and storylines.
The Kraken Hockey Network will again produce every non-national game for distribution on KING 5, KONG and select TEGNA, Gray, Cox and Morgan Murphy TV stations and streaming on Prime Video in five states. In the Seattle region, TEGNA stations KING and KONG will simulcast 18 games and KONG exclusively will air another 59 during the 2025-26 season. Kraken fans will continue to enjoy some of the best and most recognizable broadcast talent in the NHL, including legendary play-by-play announcer John Forslund. Joining him in the booth will be retired NHLer JT Brown for his unique player’s insight. Piper Shaw will continue in her role as rink side reporter, bringing player and coach interviews during every intermission.
Popular, long-time Pacific Northwest broadcaster Ian Furness will be back to host all KHN pregame, intermission and postgame shows. He will be joined again by Alison Lukan for her deep and insightful analysis, and former NHLer Brett Festerling will be back for most games to share a players’ viewpoint on the action.
Fans can also tune into Kraken games on the iHeart Kraken Audio Network on KJR, with Everett Fitzhugh on play-by-play and former player Al Kinisky as analyst, plus pre- and postgame coverage with Mike Benton.
In Seattle, KING 5 will continue to produce a weekly 30-minute Kraken magazine show called, “Kraken Home Ice” hosted by Paul Silvi. The show will feature deep storylines and exclusive interviews with Kraken players, management and coaches.

The Kraken Hockey Network will produce and broadcast 77 regional Kraken regular-season games plus the first round of the playoffs, including pre- and postgame shows.
Prime Video will stream all regionally televised games for Prime members, with no additional subscription required. The Kraken first started streaming games on Prime Video in 2024.
Free Over-the-Air games will be broadcast locally on the following stations:
- TEGNA-owned station KONG in Seattle will air at least 18 games and also simulcast games on KING 5, the broadcaster’s NBC affiliate. Additionally, TEGNA stations KGW (NBC, Portland), KREM (CBS, Spokane), KSKN (CW, Spokane), and KTVB (NBC, Boise) will also air games.
- Morgan Murphy Media stations in Yakima and the Tri-Cities, games will be available on KAPP and KVEW (ABC).
- Gray Media will broadcast Kraken games throughout Alaska on the following stations: KAUU (MyNetworkTV, Anchorage), KYEX (CBS, Juneau), and KFXF (MeTV, Fairbanks).
- Cox Media’s KEVU and KLSR (MyNetworkTV affiliates) will carry the games for fans in Eugene, Oregon.
ESPN and TNT will carry the other seven Seattle Kraken games nationally in their 84-game schedule.
