The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, in conjunction with its AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, announced today they have re-assigned defenceman Julian Melchiori to the Moose.

Melchiori, 24, played four games with the Jets after being recalled on Nov. 1. He has played eight games for the Manitoba Moose this season, recording four points (1G, 3A) and four penalty minutes. The Jets selected Melchiori in the third round, 87th overall at the 2010 NHL Draft. Last season Melchiori played in 11 games with the Jets and 62 games with the Moose registering seven points (3G, 4A).

Winnipeg Jets' defenceman Tyler Myers has been activated from the injured reserve list. Myers has been on injured reserve since Oct. 28 with a lower-body injury, missing four games. On the season, he has two points (2G, 0A) in eight games.

Winnipeg Jets' forward Joel Armia has been placed on retro-active injured reserve to Nov. 3 with a lower-body injury.
