Jets announce opening day roster for 2022-23 NHL regular season

WINNIPEG, October 11, 2022 -The Winnipeg Jets announced their opening day roster for the 2022-23 NHL regular season.
The Jets start the season with 13 forwards, eight defencemen, and two goalies. Nineteen of the 23 players on the active roster have previously played for the Jets. Forwards David Gustafsson, Axel Jonsson-Fjallby, and Cole Perfetti along with defenceman Dylan Samberg are the four rookies on the roster. Forward Axel Jonsson-Fjallby was claimed off waivers from the Washington Capitals yesterday and is listed as non-roster pending his immigration status.
