Bo Horvat connected on the power play for the third straight game and added an empty-netter while Logan Stanley earned his second two-assist game of the season as the Isles defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1, before 13,946 at UBS Arena.
Ilya Sorokin set a career high with a 165:31 shutout streak before allowing a late 6th-attacker goal; it was the first he allowed in 117:26 at home, breaking Chico Resch’s club record for a shutout streak to start the season.
Emil Heineman and Anthony Duclair scored 2:54 apart for the Isles.
