Adam Pelech didn't win the EA SPORTS NHL Hardest Shot, but the Islanders defenseman still made an impact with a 102.2 mph shot.
Pelech hit 89.4 mph on his first attempt before stepping into a 102.2 mph cannon. To put it in perspective, Adrian Aucoin won the hardest shot competition back in 2004 with a 102.2 mph shot.
Pelech's shot was harder than Timo Meier's 100.1 mph and Tom Wilson's drive at 101.1 mph. Ultimately Hedman took the crowd, first with a 102.7 mph blast before finishing up with 103.2 mph.
