Anders Lee will represent Team USA at the upcoming IIHF World Championship in Denmark, USA Hockey announced on Saturday.
Lee, who scored a career-high 40 goals for the Islanders this season, will participate in his third World Championship, previously playing in 2015 and 2017. Lee won a bronze medal in 2015 and was named a top-three player on Team USA in 2017 after scoring eight points (5G, 3A) in eight games.

The tournament runs May 4-20 in Copenhagen and Herning Denmark. Team USA is in Group B and will kick off the tournament against Team Canada.
The Islanders are well represented at this year's World Championships, as Josh Bailey, Mathew Barzal, Anthony Beauvillier, Jordan Eberle and Ryan Pulock will play for Team Canada.
