DAY 3: FUN WITH BILLETS:

The Jr. Islanders lost an exhibition game to a Ukrainian team, but while disappointed on the ice, the team had a little fun with their billet families afterwards.
The families all got together for a team dinner, experiencing some local Quebecois specialties and grouped off in a challenge to see which host/team could come up with the most creative group photo.

DAY 1: JR. ISLES ARRIVE IN QUEBEC

The Jr. Islanders have arrived in Quebec!
With the annual prestigious Quebec pee-wee hockey tournament taking place Feb. 12-23, the Jr. Isles are getting acclimated before their first game on Feb. 14.
The team will have billet families in Quebec, with 10 families opening their doors to the Jr. Isles for the duration of their stay. The team met with their billet families on Thursday night.
No trip to the Le Belle Province would complete without skating on an outdoor rink. The team held an outdoor practice and skated with parents and siblings who made the trip.
The Jr. Isles are competing in the AA-Elites division and kick off their schedule against Japanese Selects on Friday. Stay tuned to NewYorkIslanders.com for the latest updates on the Jr. Isles as they compete in the Quebec tournament.
