The Islanders got some good news and some bad news regarding the injuries on their blueline on Saturday morning.
The good news was that Nick Leddy (day-to-day, upper body) participated in the team's practice. The bad news was that Ryan Pulock will be out four-to-six weeks with a lower-body injury, suffered in the first period of Friday's 3-2 win over Arizona.
Pulock, who was recalled on Wednesday, was placed on injured reserve on Saturday morning (retroactive to Friday).
Leddy's status won't be known until Sunday and if he can't go, the Islanders will need to recall another defenseman from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
Eric Boulton was also placed on waivers on Saturday.
