Brock Nelson was a full participant in Thursday's practice at Northwell Health Ice Center.
The 31-year-old forward left Tuesday's tilt against Toronto in the first period after a hit against the boards and did not return.
Head Coach Lane Lambert said that Nelson did not return to the game for precautionary reasons on Tuesday, but was glad to see him practice with the team on Thursday.
"Very good [to see him]," Lambert said. "He seems like he's okay so that's good."

Nelson has 65 points (30G, 35A) through 72 games played in his 10th season with the Isles. Nelson is one of five Islanders who have not missed a game all season.
"I felt better yesterday, and I felt better again today," Nelson said after Thursday's practice. "I just wanted to get back out there and keep going. Right now I feel pretty good."
Sebastian Aho did not practice with the team and remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Lambert did not have an update on him after practice.
The head coach also did not provide a timeline for Mat Barzal, who has not resumed skating since his injury on Feb. 18.
