Matt Martin took a maintenance day on Saturday, but is expected to be ready to go for Game 1 against Carolina, according to Head Coach Lane Lambert.
Martin led the Islanders with 295 hits in the regular season, which ranked fifth overall. Martin tied his career-high with 19 points (7G, 12A) this season. Josh Bailey skated alongside Casey Cizikas and Cal Clutterbuck in Martin's absence.
Alexander Romanov did not skate with the team as he remains day to day with an upper body injury. Romanov will not play in Game 1, per Lambert.
