Isles Day-to-Day: Fritz, Dal Colle, Johnston Loaned

Michael Dal Colle, Tanner Fritz and Ross Johnston were loaned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Friday morning.
With the Islanders off for the NHL all-star break, the move gives Fritz, Dal Colle and Johnston a chance to play another game, as the Sound Tigers play in Springfield on Friday and host the Hershey Bears on Saturday night in Bridgeport.

Dal Colle was recalled on Jan. 11 under emergency conditions and played four games, including his NHL debut against the Rangers on Jan. 13.
Fritz was recalled for the second time this season on Jan. 14 also under emergency conditions. He appeared in five of the Islanders six games since his recall.
Johnston, who was an emergency recall on Jan. 19, scored his first NHL goal on Thursday night in Vegas. Johnston also had an assist and a fight against the Chicago Blackhawks last Saturday, both NHL firsts.
