The New York Islanders are giving fans more ways to enjoy game day at UBS Arena this season. With the Belmont Park campus fully opening, the 2026-27 season brings a new location for The Park, more places to eat and shop before puck drop, new concessions and a packed promotional calendar.
THE PARK ON THE PLAZA
The Park returns in a new location just outside the American Express Entrance on the north side of UBS Arena. Open for every Islanders home game and select UBS Arena events, The Park on The Plaza will feature hockey interactives, inflatables, lawn games and food trucks.
The Park is scheduled to open with the game day parking areas, three and a half hours before puck drop, weather permitting.
The new outdoor Beer Garden will offer $5 beers, plus discounted wine and seltzers.
American Express Card members can enjoy an exclusive space with cushioned lounge seating, fire pits and a dedicated bar offering alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, candy and snacks for purchase. Fans can also shop for game day gear at the Isles Lab Swag Shack. Due to new zoning, BYOB is no longer permitted at The Park on The Plaza.
MORE TO EXPLORE AROUND BELMONT PARK
Beginning with the Oct. 8 home game, Islanders game day ticket holders can claim free general admission to the Belmont Park racetrack on race days. Admission includes access to The Backyard, Big Red’s bar, Silks, the Trackside Lounge and the track apron. Ticket holders will receive a special offer with instructions for claiming admission.
On race days, NYRA’s new outdoor space, The Backyard, will occupy The Park’s former location. It will feature food and beverage stands, picnic tables, televisions and expanded restrooms for ticketed horse racing guests.
