DUFOUR DOMINATING IN RESUMPTION OF PLAY

Since William Dufour and the Drummondville Voltigeurs have resumed their season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the Isles' 2020 draftee (fifth round 152th overall) has been a dominant offensive presence.
In the 'protected environment,' of Quebec City's Videotron Center, Dufour and Drummondville are one of seven teams from the league's Quebec Divisions competing in six games from Nov. 17-27 games after having had to suspend play due to rampant positive COVID-19 tests in October.
Through the last five games in the 'protected environment' Dufour has compiled six goals and has seven points. On Nov. 24, Dufour recorded his first power-play goal of the season in Drummondville's 3-2 victory over Victoriaville. The following day on Nov. 25, the winger earned the second star of the game honors with his impressive three-point outing. Dufour scored twice and added an assist in the Voltigeurs' barn-burner 7-5 win over Quebec after overcoming a three-goal deficit. Dufour scored his sixth goal of the season and the sole goal for Drummondville on Nov. 27 in a 2-1 loss to Shawinigan.
Through 18 games this season, Dufour has totaled 10 points (6G, 4A). Drummondville is ranked 15th overall in the Q with a record of 5-4-1, though the Quebec teams have played fewer games overall.
