The Islanders' 2021 third rounder saved 36 of 39 shots against the Firebirds in the Saginaw Spirit's 4-3 overtime win, and 27 of 29 shots in the Spirit's 7-2 drubbing of Windsor. Lennox has now won six straight starts.

BERG POSTS TWO-POINT WEEKEND

Cameron Berg and the Omaha Mavericks faced off against No. 1 ranked Denver for their weekend series. Berg scored a goal and tallied an assist in the Mavericks' 3-0 shutout victory over the Pioneers on Nov. 25.
Berg's goal came just 12 seconds into the second period, with the game tied 0-0. As the Mavericks gained the zone, Berg received the pass and took the initial shot in the slot. The goalie made the save, but Berg jumped on the rebound and buried it at the crease, scoring what ended up the game-winner in the shutout.
Berg also earned the primary assist on Omaha's third goal, with a shot on net on the power play that Matt Miller gathered and buried.
The Mavericks split the weekend series in Denver, losing 6-3 on Nov. 26.

KUEFLER LIGHTS THE LAMP

Daylan Kuefler scored twice and also tallied an assist for three points in three games this week for the Kamloops Blazers.
On Nov. 23 against the Tri-City Americans, Kuefler scored an insurance goal, receiving a pass in the slot from behind the net and pulling the puck to his backhand to beat the goalie and bury it. The Blazers won the game 6-1.
Kuefler played a pivotal role in the Blazers' comeback attempt against the Moose Jaw Warriors on Nov. 25. He tallied the primary assist on Logan Stankoven's goal early in the third to put the Blazers on the board, and a goal of his own later in the period to bring the score to 3-2. Kuefler once again showed off his talents in front of the net, collecting his own rebound and burying it.
The Blazers couldn't complete the comeback, falling 3-2 to the Warriors. They sit in fifth in the WHL Western Conference standings.
