Here are this week's updates on the Islanders prospects:

FIVE-POINT GAME FOR ADAMS

Collin Adams roped in five points (2G, 3A) for the North Dakota Fighting Hawks in a 6-2 win on March 12th against the Miami RedHawks. Adams scored the game winner that lifted the team to victory and helped them advance to the 2021 NCHC Frozen Faceoff Semifinals. Adams and the Fighting Hawks take on Denver on Monday night.
After netting his 10th and 11th of the season in Friday's win, the Islanders 2016 sixth rounder (170th overall) fed assists for the next three North Dakota goals.
With the successful game, Adams brought his season total to 29 points (11G, 18A) during 25 games and is ranked second in points in the NCHC. The Fighting Hawks hold second overall in the NCHC and NCAA standings and have a record of 18-5-1.
With a 2-1 overtime win over Denver on Monday night, North Dakota and Adams advanced to the Frozen Faceoff title game. The Fighting Hawks will take on the St. Cloud State Huskies on Tuesday night for the NCHC championship title.

ISKHAKOV STAYS HOT

Ruslan Iskhakov extended his point streak to six games as he scored his eighth goal of the season on Saturday. Iskhakov posted a three-point outing on March 13 with a goal and two assists in TPS' 3-2 win over Ilves.
The game prior, on March 12 the Islanders' second rounder (43rd overall) scored his seventh goal of the season as TPS topped Sport 4-0.
Through 42 games this season, Iskhakov has totaled 32 points (8G, 24A). TPS and Iskhakov are ranked third overall in Liiga with a 21-16-10 record.

GOLYSHEV, AVTOMOBILIST'S SEASON COMES TO AN END

Anatoly Golyshev's season came to an end as Avtomobilist was eliminated from the KHL playoffs in five games against Avangard. Avtomobilist was officially eliminated following a 4-1 loss in Game 5 on March 10, but Golyshev's year ended even earlier, as he suffered an injury in Game 3.
Through 53 regular season games, the Islanders' 2016 fourth rounder (95th overall) compiled 27 points (12G, 15A) and 28 PIMs. Golyshev and the Avtomobilist finished the regular season with a record of 30-30-0 (24W, 3OTW, 3SOW, 3SOL, 5OTL, 22L) and a seventh-place finish in the East Conference.

NEWKIRK, PORTLAND TO BEGIN SEASON ON MARCH 18

Reece Newkirk will begin his final season of junior hockey with the Portland Winterhawks in the WHL on March 18th against the Tri-City Americans at the Toyota Center in WHL. The Islanders' 2019 fifth rounder (147th overall) finished last year's campaign, prior to its pause, with a career-high 65 points (29G, 36A) through 55 games.

UPDATE ON DUFOUR

William Dufour is week-to-week with a lower-body injury that the forward sustained on March 6 in 4-3 loss in Drummondville Voltiguers' loss to Val d'Or in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
Prior the injury, the Islanders' 2020 fifth rounder (152nd overall) was having an impressive season. Dufour had reached a season total of 29 points (17G, 12A) through 23 games. He was ranked fourth overall in the QMJHL with 17 goals.
