Welcome to the Islanders Prospect Report, a weekly roundup of the Islanders' junior, collegiate and European prospects. Visit our In the System page for more prospect content.
Here are this week's updates on Islanders prospects:

Tristan Lennox earned his third career shutout in the OHL. Friday's victory marked his 17th win of the season in 27 starts. Lennox is fourth in the OHL in wins, with a record of 17-8-1.
The 20-year-old goaltender now has two shutouts on the season, tied with four others for first in the league.
The Saginaw Spirit are tied for first in the West Division (50 points) with a record of 24-11-2. The Spirit are in the midst of a four-day break before they take on the Windsor Spitfires on Thursday at WFCU Centre.

ALEX JEFFERIES LIGHTS THE LAMP FOR MERRIMACK

Alex Jefferies scored a shorthanded goal for Merrimack on Saturday, marking his seventh goal of the season and picking up his first shorty of his career. Merrimack fell 6-2 to Brown, but not without Jefferies finding the back of the net on the penalty kill.

Jefferies ranks second overall in points (25) in Hockey East, while taking the top spot in the conference for assists (18). The 2022 fourth round draft pick (121st overall) averages a point per game, with 25 points in 21 games played.
In his junior season, Jefferies already accumulated more points than last year's totals, when he recorded 23 points (10G, 17A) in 33 games in his sophomore year.

DAYLAN KUEFLER'S FOUR POINT WEEKEND

Daylan Kuefler is red-hot for the Kamloops Blazers, earning four points (3G, 1A) in his last two games, including netting two goals in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Kelowna Rockets.
The Islanders 2022 sixth round draft pick (174th overall) was productive in both halves of the weekend's back-to-back set, collecting three goals and an assist over that span.
In Friday's 5-1 decision, Kuefler opened the scoring against the Rockets in the middle of the first frame, his 19th of the season. The 20-year-old winger kept the momentum going with a power play goal late in the second period to extend the Kamloops lead, 4-1.
Kuefler and the Blazers attempted a comeback on Saturday after finding themselves in a 3-0 deficit after 40 minutes. Kueffer led the charge with a power play goal to get his team on the board 1-0, and tallied a secondary assist in the final Kamloops goal. The Blazers fell one goal short of tying game, dropping the contest 3-2.
