Here are this week's updates on the Islanders prospects:

COCKERILL COLLECTS SECOND AND THIRD GOALS OF THE SEASON

Logan Cockerill posted a two-goal performance for the Boston University Terriers in their 6-4 victory over UMass on Jan. 25. As part of his two-goal outing, Cockerill - who is the Terriers' captain - earned the game winner, which marked his second game-winning goal of the season.
The Islanders' 2017 seventh rounder (201st overall) now has six points (3G, 3A) through 21 games of his redshirt senior season with BU. Cockerill and the Terriers rank third in their conference (Hockey East) with a 9-6-3 record and boast an overall record of 13-10-3.


LJUNGKRANTZ LIGHTS LAMP WITH SHORTHANDED GOAL

Alex Ljungkrantz recorded his first shorthanded goal of the season for HC Vita Hasten of HockeyAllsvenskan, Sweden's second-tier league of professional hockey.
The Islanders' 2020 third rounder (90th overall) buried his third goal of the season with the shorthanded strike in Vita Hasten's 6-3 win over Mora on Jan. 30. Ljungkrantz now has six points (3G, 3A) through 16 games.
The winger and Vita Hasten rank 10th in HockeyAllsvenskan standings with a 13-14-7 record.


TIKKANEN POSTS 10TH WIN OF THE SEASON

Henrik Tikkanen earned his 10th win of the season in goal for MoDo of HockeyAllsvenskan. The Islanders' 2020 seventh rounder (214th overall) made 31 saves on 34 shots in KalPal's 7-3 defeat over Sodertalje on Jan. 26.
With the win, Tikkanen improved his record to 10-3-0, where he has a .904 SV%., a 2.67 GAA and one shutout this season.
The left-catch Finnish netminder and MoDo rank second in HockeyAllsvenskan with a 26-7-4 record.


LIUKAS SCORES FIFTH GOAL FOR TPS

Eetu Liukas buried his fifth goal of the season with TPS in Liiga. The Islanders' 2021 fifth rounder (157th overall) scored his team's lone goal in their eventual 3-1 loss to Vaasan Sport on Jan. 29.
The Finnish winger now has six points (5G, 1A) through 29 games with TPS. Liukas and TPS rank seventh in Liiga with a 20-16-2 record.
