Here are this week's updates on the Islanders prospects:

RATY RATTLES OFF TWO GOALS

Aatu Raty posted a two-goal performance for Jukurit of Liiga on Jan. 22 in their 5-2 victory over JYP.
Raty, who the Islanders selected in the second round of the 2021 NHL Draft (52nd overall), now has 19 points (8G, 11A) through 20 games.
Raty and Jukurit currently sit in fifth place in Liiga with a 22-13-4 record.


COCKERILL AND BERG DISH OUT ASSISTS

In the NCAA, Logan Cockerill of the Boston University Terriers and Cameron Berg of the University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks each posted an assist for their respective teams.
Cockerill, who the Islanders selected in the seventh round of the 2017 NHL Draft (201st overall) dished out an assist on Jan. 22 in BU's 4-0 blanking over Vermont, where the Terriers split the weekend series. The assist marked Cockerill's fourth point of the season. The captain has four points through 19 games of his red-shirt senior season.
BU is ranked sixth in the Hockey East standings with a 7-6-3 conference record and owns an overall record of 11-10-3.
Berg recorded his seventh assist of the season as UNO defeated Minnesota Duluth 5-1 and split the weekend series. The Islanders' 2021 fourth rounder (125th overall) now has 14 points (7G, 7A) through 23 games of his freshman season.
The Mavericks sit in sixth place in the NCHC standings with a 5-7-0 record and have an overall record of 15-9-0.


LJUNGKRANTZ NOTCHES FIFTH POINT WITH VITA HASTEN

Alex Ljungkrantz picked up his fifth point of the season as he posted an assist in Vita Hasten's 5-1 defeat over Vasteras on Jan. 19.
Through 14 games with Vita Hasten, the Islanders' 2020 third rounder (90th overall) has totaled five points (2G, 3A).
Ljungkrantz and Vita Hasten rank 10th overall in HockeyAllsvenskan with a 12-13-7.


RAJANIEMI'S FOURTH APPLE

Matias Rajaniemi registered his fourth assist of the season for the Pelicans in Liiga. The Islanders' 2020 sixth roudner (183rd overall) posted an assist in the Pelicans' 6-1 loss to Lukko
on Jan. 18.
Rajaniemi has four points through 37 games. He and the Pelicans rank ninth overall with a 18-15-4 record.


QMJHL EXTENDS PAUSE

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League annoucned on Jan. 14 that it would extend its season pause
to Feb. 1 due to the COVID-19 restrictions in the province, stating, "With no clear timeline of COVID-19 restrictions being eased, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League today announced the postponement of its return to play plans."
Islanders' prospect William Dufour currrently plays for the Saint John Sea Dogs where he has totaled the second-most points in the entire league with 47 points (22G, 25A) through 28 games.
