WAHLSTROM, ISKHAKOV SCORE IN HEAD-TO-HEAD MATCHUP:

Friday marked Wahlstrom's second consecutive two-point game after potting a goal and an assist in a 4-4 tie vs Lowell on Jan. 26. Wahlstrom has seven points (3G, 4A) in seven games since returning from the World Juniors.
Iskhakov's two-goal night was a season-high, while his three-point game matched his season-high. Iskhakov has 11 points (4G, 7A) in 24 games this season.


SOROKIN RECORDS 10TH SHUTOUT, SETS CAREER-HIGH IN WINS:

Ilya Sorokin recorded his career-high tying 10th shutout of the season on Monday (Feb. 4), as well as a new career-high in wins (26). Sorokin made 16 saves on Monday in CSKA Moscow's 3-0 win over Dinamo Minsk. The shutout was Sorokin's second straight after stopping all 12 shots in CSKA's 4-0 win over Severstal.
Sorokin's 10 shutouts matched his previous high set during the 2015-16 season and are tied for the KHL lead with Lokomotiv goalie Ilya Konovalov. Sorokin's 26 wins establish a new career-high.
The Islanders' 2014 third-round pick (78th overall) has won three straight games and is 26-6-3 this season with a 1.20 GAA and a .938SV%.


DOBSON PILING UP POINTS IN ROUYN-NORANDA:

Noah Dobson continues to rack up assists in Rouyn-Noranda, recording his 14th in assist in his 10th game with his new team.
Dobson had a three-assist night against Acadie-Bathurst, his former team, on Friday night, his second three-point affair since joining Rouyn-Noranda.
