Here are this week's updates on Islanders prospects:

The 18-year-old defenseman has 18 points (5G, 13A) through 40 games played season and is one goal shy of matching last year's career-best six goals through 67 games.
The Knights stand second in the Western Conference with 73 points and trail by one point to the Windsor Spitfires (74 points), but have one game in-hand.

MAGGIO CONTRIBUTES IN SEVEN-GAME WIN STREAK

Matt Maggio and the Western Conference-leading Windsor Spitfires strung together seven consecutive wins, closing in with 17 games left in the regular season.
The Islanders' 2022 fifth round draft pick (142nd overall) put up five points (1G, 4A) last week to help lift the Spitfires record to 35-12-3-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL). Aside from his four helpers, Maggio found the back of the net to get his team on the board in Thursday's 5-4 overtime win against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

The 20-year-old winger took a season-high 11 shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Saginaw Spirit, but did not hit the scoresheet, putting an end to his season-long 15-game point streak (13G, 20A).
Maggio remains at the top of the OHL standings in goals (41) and points (84).

FINLEY REGISTERS THREE-POINT WEEK

Quinn Finley continues to produce points for the Chicago Steel, sporting a three-point performance in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Des Moines Buccaneers and maintaining his point-per-game average since his trade from the Madison Capitols.
The 18-year-old winger scored the team's fourth goal and had an assist on the game winner, extending his point streak (3G, 4A) to four games.

Finley, who the Islanders selected 78th overall in the third round of the 2022 NHL Draft, has 13 points (6G, 7A) through 11 games with Chicago.

LJUNGKRANTZ SIGNS WITH BRYNAS IF:

Alexander Ljungkrantz agreed a two-year extension with Brynas IF of the Swedish Hockey League on Wednesday, signing with his hometown team through the 2024-25 season.

The Islanders 2020 third rounder (90th overall) made his SHL debut in the 2018-19 season.
The 20-year-old winger has 10 points (5G, 5G) for the club through 41 games this season.
