The New York Islanders advanced to the Stanley Cup Playoffs after beating the Florida Panthers 3-1 in a best-of-five Stanley Cup Qualifier. 5 - Points for Anthony Beauvillier.Beauvillier had a team-high five points (3G, 2A) in the series, including at least one point in each game. Beauvillier's three goals tied JG Pageau for the team lead. Beauvillier also led the team with 16 shots on goal.

4 - Assists for Josh Bailey and Devon Toews. Bailey and Toews each dished a team-leading four helpers. Toews recorded an assist in each game, while Bailey had an assist in every win, including two in the Game 4 clincher.

13:24 - Time without a shot against.The Isles held the Panthers without a shot on goal from the 5:21 to the 18:45 mark of the third period of Game 2.

1:20:01 - Time with a lead in the series.The Islanders played with the lead for 1:20:01 of 2:40:00 of game play, just over half of the series.

61:03 - Time trailing in the series.The Isles trailed for 20:50 in Game 2 and trailed for trailed for 40:13 in Game 3.

46% - of Isles goals from French Canadians.Of the Islanders 13 total goals in the series, six of them came from French Canadians, trois from Beauvillier and trois from Jean-Gabriel Pageau. 7 - goals against.The Islanders allowed seven goals over four games to the NHL's sixth-ranked offense in the regular season. That averages out to 1.75 per game, but the Isles held the Panthers to one goal in two of the four games.

Of the Panthers seven tallies, four came on the power play, meaning that the Islanders only gave up three even-strength goals in the series.

Dating back to the regular season, the Islanders only allowed the Panthers to score three goals once in seven total meetings.

.932 - save percentage for Semyon Varlamov.Semyon Varlamov stopped 96-of-103 shots in the series, shining in his first postseason play since the 2014 playoffs. Varlamov started all four games, including both games of a back-to-back set in Games 2 and 3. Varlamov's final numbers were a 3-1-0 record, a 1.76 GAA and a .932 SV%.

80:51 - Time on ice for Adam Pelech.Pelech led the Islanders in ice time in the series, showing no rust or ill effects after missing the second half of the season with an Achilles tendon injury. Pelech's 20:13 TOI/GP also led the Islanders.

55.9 - Faceoff win percentage for Mathew Barzal.Barzal finished the series with the highest FOW% on the Islanders. Pageau was second winning 52.9% of his draws, including eight-of-10 in the series opener.

72 - Blocks. At the conclusion of their game on Friday, the Islanders led the NHL with 72 blocked shots - 18 per game. Ryan Pulock led the Islanders with 10 total blocks, none bigger than his open-net save on Aleksander Barkov in Game 4, a defining moment of the game for Head Coach Barry Trotz.

4 - Power-play goals. The Islanders went 4-for-16 on the power play, winning the special teams battles in Games 1 and 2. The Isles power play converted in each of the wins, including a 2-for-7 performance in Game 2, which tied a season-high in both goals and opportunities.
