Fleury

When the Golden Knights woke up in Nashville on Tuesday, they were greeted by a fresh blanket of snow.
As well as balmy 14-degree temperatures.

Perhaps it was only fitting then that head coach Gerard Gallant confirmed that Marc-Andre "Fleury" would get the start in goal against the Predators this evening. Fleury stopped all 29 shots in earning a shutout against the Predators at T-Mobile Arena on January 2, after Malcolm Subban picked up the win here at Bridgestone Arena in December.
Although Gallant confirmed Fleury would start on Tuesday, he suggested that in all probability, both of the Golden Knights goalies will play on this road trip that includes stops in Tampa Bay, Florida and Carolina before Vegas returns home to meet Columbus a week from tonight.
"That's the thing about our team," Gallant said. "We have 23 guys on our roster and every one of those guys is valuable for us. You want to play all of those guys. When you have two goalies that you can rely on, I'm very confident in the two."

Gallant also confirmed a bit of a shakeup throughout the rest of the lineup.
Cody Eakin has missed the last two days of practice with an injury that Gallant has referred to as "minor." Although whatever plagues Eakin doesn't seem to be too major, Gallant said Eakin wouldn't be in the lineup tonight. Neither would Brendan Leipsic, who is healthy, but is coming out to make way for Oscar Lindberg. Lindberg has been scratched the past three games.
Ryan Carpenter, meanwhile, draws in for Eakin. Gallant said Carpenter will center a line between Lindberg and Alex Tuch.
The rest of the lineup remains the same, including James Neal, who has missed some practice time since Saturday's game vs. Edmonton but was confirmed by Gallant as ready to go.
