The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Seattle Kraken 6-2 in a feisty affair on Tuesday night at Climate Pledge Arena to sweep their two-game Pacific Northwest road trip.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Victor Olofsson put the Golden Knights on the board in the latter half of the first frame off a deflected shot. Two minutes later, Tomas Hertl capitalized on a power-play opportunity, giving the Golden Knights a 2-0 lead through 20 minutes.
The domination continued for Vegas early in the second with a short-handed goal from Mark Stone off an assist from Jack Eichel. Olofsson then tallied his second goal of the game and fourth of the season, with an assist from Hertl. Eichel netted a goal of his goal, bringing the team to a 5-0 lead at the end of the middle frame.
Shane Wright’s wrist shot in the third cut into the deficit for the Kraken, but Hertl responded with another power-play goal, reinstating the Golden Knights' five-goal lead with a 6-1 score. Seattle took advantage of their power-play moment in the final frame with Jared McCann hitting the back of the net off a wrist shot to conclude the scoring Carter Hart put up a .926 save percentage in the victory, turning aside 25 of 27 shots.

Tomas Hertl: Hertl racked up four points off two goals and two assists.
Jack Eichel: Eichel also collected a total of four points with a goal and three helpers.
Victor Olofsson: Olofsson scored twice for the Golden Knights to give him four on the season.
