Marc-Andre Fleury turned aside all 27 shots he faced as the Vegas Golden Knights earned a 5-0 victory against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas leads the best-of-seven series, 3-1.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Vegas continued its trend of scoring early as Max Pacioretty notched his fourth goal of the playoffs at 1:11 of the first. In the final minute of the frame, Shea Theodore burst through the San Jose defense and put the Golden Knights ahead, 2-0. Pacioretty scored again in the second period and Vegas carried the 3-0 lead into the third period. Goals from Alex Tuch and Jonathan Marchessault were cherries on top of Vegas' 5-0 win in Game 4.
TOP PERFORMERS
Marc-Andre Fleury: Fleury remained steady in the Vegas net as he earned the 15th playoff shutout of his career.
Max Pacioretty:Pacioretty continued his torrent start to the playoffs with a four-point showing (2G, 2A).
Shea Theodore: Theodore posted his second consecutive multi-point game as he notched a goal and an assist.
