Growing up, Katie Marie played many sports but eventually settled on a life as an entertainer.  She spent her college days in Pittsburgh, PA earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Point Park University’s Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Since joining the Vegas Golden Knights, Katie Marie has also hosted many other events such as an on-call Host for the Henderson Silver Knights, Skate America 2019, NHL All Star 2022, WAC Championship 2023, Stanley Cup Championship 2023 and many more. Katie Marie was also a contestant on American Idol Season 20 and can be seen as Baby Spice (select dates) in Spice Wannabe at Excalibur, Casey/ Tatum in the viral Musical Parody, Scream’d: An Unauthorized Musical Parody at Majestic Repertory Theatre in the Las Vegas Arts District, and as a Showgirl in Nathan Burton Comedy Magic at the Nathan Burton Theatre.  If you’d like to see what she’s up to next follow her on Instagram @misskatiemariee!

Mark Shunock

A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada, Mark Shunock is a former member of the Canadian Hockey League. He spent almost 10 years living in New York City performing on America’s premiere stages. Mark earned a Helen Hayes Nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Timon in DISNEY’S THE LION KING.

He recently starred in the Broadway Hit ROCK OF AGES at the Venetian/Palazzo in Las Vegas and as the MC is the sexy smash MAGIC MIKE LIVE at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Mark was a member of the Vegas Wants Hockey campaign which led to the birth of the Vegas Golden Knights. He has worked as a host for the team since day one. Mark also worked as host for the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL for two seasons. He currently serves as host and ring announcer for Top Rank Boxing on ESPN and continues to host for The Vegas Golden Knights.

Mark is the creator of Mondays Dark, Vegas’ premiere variety show for a cause. The $20 variety show for a cause has become one of the hottest tickets in town and the list of charities waiting to partner with Mondays Dark continues to grow. To date, Mondays Dark has raised over 2 Million Dollars, partnered with over 180 local organizations, and every penny has stayed here in Las Vegas.

In January 2017, Shunock opened The Space; Vegas’ first Community Driven, Charity Based Arts Complex, and now the home of Mondays Dark. The Space consists of a state of the art raw performance/event space, black box theatre, recording studio, and a piano bar/lobby. In its first year of operation, The Space has hosted over 150 events, featuring Tony Winners, Emmy Winners, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers. Mondays Dark has been named “Best of the City” from Vegas Seven and “Best of Vegas” from Las Vegas Weekly. In addition, Shunock received the 2014 Angel Award for Cultural Advocate/Entertainer of the Year and recently won Best Philanthropist from “Best of Las Vegas” and the Las Vegas Review Journal. He also received The Impact Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Las Vegas Chapter for Mondays Dark.

Bojo Ackah

Bojo’s journey to Las Vegas began with an athletic scholarship to play soccer at UNLV, drawing him from Southern California. After graduating, he planted roots in Las Vegas nearly two decades ago.

In 2020, Bojo assumed the role of the inaugural In-Arena Host for the Henderson Silver Knights of the AHL, concurrently co-hosting games during the third season of the Vegas Golden Knights franchise. Known for his vibrant and engaging personality, Bojo seamlessly transitions between roles, serving as a host for various community, sports, and entertainment events in Las Vegas. He has become a fixture in the community, lending his voice & personality to several of the city’s major sporting events and uniquely hosting games for all Foley Entertainment teams in Las Vegas, including the Henderson Silver Knights, Las Vegas Knight Hawks, and NBA G-League Ignite.

Beyond his arena duties, Bojo commands the airwaves as the host of ‘The Bojo Show,’ a top-rated afternoon drive radio program on Vegas’ Q100.5- KXQQ FM. With a radio career spanning back to 2006 in Las Vegas, his consistent high Arbitron and Nielsen ratings reflect his enduring appeal. 

Amidst the limelight, Bojo’s true passion lies in his family. For him, nothing surpasses the importance of spending quality time with his wife, Heidi, his daughter Amaya and son Isaiah.

Bruce Cusick

Our Public Address Announcer, Bruce Cusick, is in his 7th year with the Vegas Golden Knights. He was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota and grew up playing several different sports, which is where his love for hockey started while playing goaltender.

Bruce moved to the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St.Paul in the late 70’s and has split his time between there and Las Vegas. He brings over 30 years of experience working as a PA announcer for professional sports teams in 6 different leagues; which currently includes PA announcer for the Vegas Knight Hawks pro Indoor Football Team, announced 12 years with the Minnesota Vikings of the NFL, 7 with the Minnesota Thunder pro soccer team, and 5 in the National Lacrosse League with the Minnesota Swarm. He has also worked Game Days Operations for the Minnesota Wild and for the Minnesota Twins. He has been the TV announcer for 2 NHL Awards Shows, is the current announcer for Battle 4 Vegas charity softball game, and current announcer for the annual Power of Love Gala. He also has experience voicing radio and TV commercials, not only for the mentioned sports teams, but for several different business and charitable organizations.

Joe Green

Vegas Born DJ, DJ Joe Green, is currently 20 years into his DJ career and has grown to become a notable figure throughout the communities of night life, entertainment, and sports. DJ Joe has provided music for games and events throughout the United States and neighboring islands, including two WNBA championships and one Stanley Cup championship.

Green is currently in his seventh season as Music Director and In-Game DJ for the Vegas Golden Knights NHL team, Henderson Silver Knights AHL team, NBA G-League Ignite, and the IFL's Vegas Knight Hawks. He also maintains recurring spots on the Las Vegas Strip, as well as terrestrial radio with SiriusXM, and FM radio throughout Southern-Nevada."

American National Anthem singer

“Golden Pipes” Carnell Johnson

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Carnell is no stranger to seeing the limelight. He just never thought sports would be where he would find his as the Golden Knights American National Anthem singer! Carnell received his operatic training from UNLV and has been a professional singer and musician (he plays the piano, drums and guitar) for over 25 years. Ha has performed at numerous venues around town, big and small, and performed with the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Jennifer Hudson, and Star Wars in Concert. He’s in his 7th season of singing the Star Spangled Banner for the Golden Knights and has loved what this team has done for him and his city!
