FACING THE KINGS

In their last 10 games against the LA Kings, the Calgary Flames hold a 5-4-1 record. In their last 10 road games in LA, the Flames have gone 5-5-0.

Three Flames have hit career milestones against the Kings: Johnny Gaudreau's first career hat trick came in LA on Dec. 22, 2014, Alex Chiasson collected his first NHL assist against the Kings on Apr. 9, 2013 and Lance Bouma made his NHL debut in a game against the Kings on Feb. 5, 2011.

MAKING A STATEMENT

After being told he would play in his 10th NHL game, rookie Matthew Tkachuk scored two goals - including the game-winner - in San Jose on Thursday. As per the Elias Sports Bureau, Tkachuk is just the second 18-year-old in franchise history to score multiple goals in a game. Dan Quinn scored two-plus goals in three games in his rookie season in 1983-84.

FROLIK'S STREAK

With two points in Thursday's win in San Jose, Michael Frolik has extended his point streak to four games. He currently leads the team in scoring with five goals and nine points.
