They're outshooting, outchancing and outplaying the opposition on most nights, but not getting Ws as a result.
The Flames fell 3-1 to the Bruins in Boston Thursday night as they only gathered one point on their recent three-game Eastern road swing.
They have now lost seven straight after a red-hot, franchise-best 5-1 start to the campaign.
But, as the old saying goes, there's no use crying over spilt milk.
Head coach Darryl Sutter said the team has to remain committed to the process and keep plugging along as they battle to turn their fortunes around.
"Frustration is a bad... You'd rather be angry than frustrated," he said after the loss to the Bruins. "That's a way better emotion. Quite frankly, this whole trip, I don't have an issue with any of it. We played our butts off, quite honestly, and didn't get much out of it."
One area of focus heading into this tilt with the Jets will be the team's offensive production, as they are struggling to score goals despite generating many goods looks on a regular basis right now.
"I think our effort is there," said Andrew Mangiapane. "We've just got to start bearing down on some of our chances and staying out of the box. Puck management is a big one for us lately. We've just got to clean up those little areas and we'll get out of this. We've just got to stick with it and keep building off the positives and eliminating the mistakes."

The Jets have had a looooooooong rest since playing their last outing, a 5-1 win over the Stars at home on Tuesday.
It was their third win in a row and they sat atop the NHL's Central Division standings prior to last night's slate of games.
Jason Robertson opened the scoring for Dallas early in the second period before the hometown squad rattled off four straight in the middle stanza, followed by their final tally late in the third period.
Mark Scheifele led the Jets with two goals, while Pierre-Luc Dubois, Saku Maenalanen and Mason Appleton added singles. Connor Hellebuyck made 21 saves for the surging Jets, who have collected at least a point in their last seven outings.
"We're not sitting back on our heels, we're playing on our toes, we're making it hard on teams to make plays and make continuous passes," Scheifele told NHL.com's Darren Bauming. "That comes with playing fast and having good sticks and trusting your teammates. I think we've done a really good job with that."
Rick Bowness, behind the Jets bench in his first year as the club's head coach, said while team is on quite a streak right now, they haven't played their best hockey yet.
"They're starting to realize that we've got a good team here, and if we play the right way and we play fast and we pressure them, that first period was a pretty good example of it," Bowness said. "We had a lot of great opportunities offensively from playing good defence and moving the puck quick. It's starting to sink in. There's always room for improvement. We've got a long way to go and still have lots of work ahead of us, but we're getting there."

WINNING WAYS: Since Winnipeg moved from Atlanta, the Flames have an all-time record of 10-6-1 in the 17 games the teams have played in the Saddledome. Mikael Backlund leads the way with 11 points over those 17 contests in Calgary. The Swede recorded an assist in the two clubs last clash in Calgary back in February.
LETHAL LINDHOLM: Coming into tonight's contest, Elias Lindholm has scored in three of the last four meetings between the Jets and Flames in Calgary. In their most recent meeting at the Scotiabank Saddledome, Lindholm scored the game-winning goal with just 0:47 seconds remaining in regulation and was named the First Star in a 3-1 win.
DID YOU KNOW: Dillon Dube scored his first NHL goal against the Winnipeg Jets in the Scotianbank Saddledome on November 21, 2018.

Flames - Nazem Kadri
A team-leading 13 points (7G, 5A) in 12 games, Kadri continues his hot start to the season and enters the match-up two assists away from 200 in his career.
Jets - Pierre-Luc Dubois
The Jets forward has been on a tear of late, scoring a goal in three straight games and has five points over the same span. He's currently second in team scoring with six goals and 11 points.
Darryl Sutter on getting out of current funk:
"If you look at the two things that are always happening on winning or losing streaks, one of two things are always happening: Goaltender steals a game, or somebody scores a big goal. Always. Doesn't matter, it's always like that. There are two things that we, for sure, have to get better at as a team are save percentage and shooting percentage. Probably in the bottom 10, both of them. It's probably, what, two wins now, I would say, based on that."
