With three straight victories, Sweden remains undefeated in the 2018 IIHF World Championship in Denmark. The defending champions have earned victories over Belarus on Friday, Czech Republic on Sunday and France earlier today.

At the forefront of Sweden's offense is none other than Ducks left wing Rickard Rakell, who is leaving his mark in his IIHF World Championship debut. The 25-year-old Sundbyberg, Sweden native has three goals and seven points in three games for Sweden at this year's tournament, which leads the team in scoring and ranks third overall in the tournament. (Canada's Connor McDavid also has seven points). Rakell had six points in his first two games (1g/2a in each game) and scored his third goal of the tournament just 24 seconds into the game against France on Monday. Rakell also leads Sweden's forwards with 18:47 TOI per game and has a +6 rating through three games.
Meanwhile, Ducks teammate Hampus Lindholm has three points (all assists) and a +2 rating in three games with Sweden thus far. The 24-year-old Helsingborg, Sweden native is also in his first World Championship.
