Preview: Ducks Close Out Preseason Tonight in Los Angeles

The seventh and final game of Anaheim's preseason schedule takes place tonight at STAPLES Center against the LA Kings at 7:30 p.m. PT.
The Ducks (3-3-0) are coming off a 3-0 shutout victory over the San Jose Sharks on Thursday at Honda Center, and will look to go 2-0 against their crosstown rivals tonight. Anaheim won the first meeting, 4-2, eight days ago at Honda Center in a game that featured three points from Jakob Silfverberg (1g/2a), who was making his preseason debut.

LA brings a 4-1-1 record into its preseason finale on the heels of a 4-1 victory over the Arizona Coyotes two nights ago at STAPLES Center. Mike Cammalleri, Jake Muzzin, Alec Martinez and Tyler Toffoli had multi-point performances, while Jonathan Quick stopped 37-of-38 shots for his second win of the preseason.
The Ducks will open the 2017-18 regular season next Thursday against the Coyotes, the first season opener at Honda Center since the 2009-10 campaign when they hosted the Sharks on Oct. 3, 2009.
The Kings, meanwhile, will also open their 2017-18 regular season on Thursday when they host the visiting Philadelphia Flyers.
