The Ducks will have six players overall at the 2021 World Junior Championship in Edmonton, Alberta from Dec. 25-Jan. 5, including the four Americans, Jamie Drysdale (Canada) and Albin Sundsvik (Sweden). Dates, times and the television schedule are listed below.
Zegras will make his second World Junior Championship appearance after recording nine assists (all primary) to lead the 2020 tournament, which ranked tied for fourth-most by a U.S. player in a single World Junior Championship.
Jamie Drysdale (Canada) will also make his second appearance after helping Canada to a gold medal in 2020. At 17 years, 8 months, Drysdale became the youngest defensemen since 2001 to appear in a World Junior Championship for Canada (Jay Bouwmeester, 17 years, 3 months), and the sixth-youngest Canadian defensemen all-time.
Four California-born players were named to Team USA's roster, second only to Massachusetts (5).
