The Ducks have reassigned left wing Ondrej Kase to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Kase, 21 (11/8/95), collected 5-9=14 points with 16 penalty minutes (PIM) in 51 games with the Ducks this season. He made his NHL debut on Nov. 2 vs. Pittsburgh and scored his first career NHL goal and game-winner on Dec. 1 in Vancouver. Recalled from San Diego on Nov. 19, Kase posted his first career overtime goal to lead Anaheim to a 3-2 victory on Jan. 6 vs. Arizona.
Selected by Anaheim in the seventh round (205th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft, Kase has recorded 11-10=21 points with eight PIM in 34 career AHL games with San Diego, including 3-4=7 points and a +7 rating in nine contests with the Gulls this season. The 6-0, 180-pound forward has also appeared in nine career Calder Cup Playoff games, earning 1-3=4 points with the Gulls.
