The Ducks announced that the NHL and Prime Video have agreed to stream all regional Ducks games beginning with the 2026-27 NHL season.
All local games (non-national broadcasts) will be available to stream for in-market fans with an Amazon Prime membership, with no additional subscription required. The Ducks will continue to air 65 games on over-the-air television on KCOP-13 or FOX 11. The club's broadcast for Prime Video members will be free of charge for fans in Year 1 of the agreement. All locally broadcast Ducks games will remain available to 100% of the Los Angeles market.
“It was critical to provide our fans in our entire television market with a similar model to have Ducks games available via stream or over-the-air television,” said Ducks President Aaron Teats. “It remains a significant organizational priority for all Ducks fans within our region to have the opportunity to watch Ducks games."
Prime Video will stream all non-nationally televised games for viewers in the Ducks’ regional television territory (Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County, Imperial County, Santa Barbara County, Ventura County and Hawaii).
“We’re excited to build upon our strong relationship with the NHL and provide fans with more ways to connect with the local teams they love,” said Charlie Neiman, Head of Sports Partnerships, Prime Video. “We have firmly established Prime Video as a primary destination for sports and look forward to helping these teams broaden the reach and accessibility of their live games.”
Ducks fans in-market will be able to watch locally at home or on the go, and across thousands of compatible devices, streaming from the web, or using the Prime Video app on smartphones, tablets, set-top boxes, game consoles and connected TVs.
Fans outside of the Anaheim Ducks television territory can continue to watch with NHL Power Play on the ESPN App or NHL Center Ice.
The Ducks will launch an exclusive multimedia broadcast network with all games produced in collaboration with NHL Productions, with the Ducks overseeing the network’s production, distribution, sales and marketing. The NHL’s newly-launched centralized production for regional broadcasts provides the Ducks network with comprehensive production services, including robust programming, premium game production, advanced graphics and replay capabilities, and technical and engineering support.
All other information regarding Ducks television broadcasts will be announced when available. The Ducks begin the 2026-27 regular season on Friday, Oct. 2 at the Vegas Golden Knights (7 p.m. PT).
