A missing part of the Devils lineup is back. Forward Miles Wood left the team's camp game on Wednesday with an injury and was out for an additional two days. He missed another camp game Friday, but returned to practice Saturday morning with Group A. Wood gave an update to what happened following his first skate back.
"It was kind of a freak thing. [Boqvist] came down the wall with the puck there and I just finished my check on him and I went into him kind of awkwardly there and just tweaked my shoulder," said Wood. "Thank god it wasn't something serious, but I'm back now, skated with the team. It's good to be back."

WHAT'S NEXT
The Devils play their final Camp Game scheduled for 7:00 PM ET and it will be streamed live once again on NewJerseyDevils.com.
Wood said that his hand went numb after the hit but after examination, the training staff assured him it was a minor setback.
"At first, my hand went numb so I was like 'oh no, what's going on here,'" said Wood. "I talked to [the trainers] we knew that it wasn't a big deal."
When asked how he felt returning to the ice Saturday, Wood said he's getting back to normal but feeling good.
"Yeah, I felt not 100% but certainly [well] enough to practice with the team and get back into that."
