DEVILS VS. CANADIENS
Tonight is the third and final meeting between the Devils and Canadiens in 2016-17. Montreal leads the season-series, 2-0-0. New Jersey fell, 2-5, Dec. 8 at Bell Centre and 1-3 on Jan. 20 at Prudential Center. The Devils have been out-scored 3-8 in the first two matches.
New Jersey is 7-10-3 vs. the Atlantic Division and is 15-16-6 against Eastern Conference opponents. The Devils are 3-4-2 at Prudential Center and are 7-7-3 overall vs. Montreal since the 2011-12 season.
Cory Schneider made a season-high 44 saves vs. the Canadiens on Dec. 8. Taylor Hall (2g-4a) and Adam Henrique (3g-3a) each have six points in their last five games against Montreal.
