Vancouver, B.C. – The wait is over! Get ready for opening night energy, a Pacific Division rivalry, and the first chance to see the Vancouver Canucks hit home ice in the 2026.27 season as they welcome the Edmonton Oilers to Rogers Arena for their Home Opener, presented by RBC, on October 1 at 7:00pm.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to take in the full Home Opener experience. Live at RBC Landing begins at 5:00pm, with entertainment, activities, and more leading into puck drop!

Get the night going with live music, interactive games, Canucks alumni autograph sessions, high-energy performances from the Canucks Dance Team, face painting, colouring stations, light-up letters for the perfect photo op, and a retail trailer. Come early, hang out and soak up the opening-night atmosphere before heading inside.

- Welcome the New Canucks: Join us as we introduce the 2026.27 Canucks roster and coaching staff, with special appearances from Canucks alumni as they take the ice for the first time this season.

Throughout the summer, Canucks Sports & Entertainment has also refreshed a concourse space with the introduction of the Shelter Point Club at Rogers Arena, in partnership with Shelter Point Distillery. The space features an updated bar, a new Sportsbar Live! location, and Smash by Provisions for fans to enjoy beginning with home opener.
The Home Opener excitement comes with a chance to win big, with an estimated $500,000 50/50 jackpot in support of the Canucks for Kids Fund. Sales open at 12:00pm PST on September 28 and run through October 1, closing after the second intermission. Tickets are available in-arena on October 1 or online HERE.
