Shea-Weber

MONTREAL - We loved the raw emotion in Shea Weber's goal celebration on Saturday night.

The captain was a very happy man after giving the Canadiens a 3-2 lead over the Senators during the third period at the Bell Centre.
And, Weber's fourth goal of the season also proved to be the game-winner.

OTT@MTL: Weber rips one past McKenna for lead

It was the 30th game-winning tally of the veteran blueliner's career.
He ranks fourth in that department among active defensemen, joining Dustin Byfuglien (36), Brent Burns (34) and Zdeno Chara (33) as the only other rearguards with 30-plus game-winning markers on their resumes.
It was also his sixth game-winner as a member of the Canadiens.
Looking at the numbers
Weber has scored a single-season high four game-winning goals on three occasions, including once with the Habs.

That was back in 2016-17 during his first campaign in Montreal.
He set the mark with the Nashville Predators in 2008-09, and previously matched it in 2013-14.
Chasing Ray
Hall-of-Famer Ray Bourque is the all-time leader in game-winning goals among those who ply their trade on the back end.
Bourque registered 60 game-winners in 1,612 career games.
Weber is half way there, though, accomplishing the feat in his 876th career contest.

And, with a shot like his, the sky really is the limit when it comes to lighting the lamp.
