The two 2022 second-round picks shared their thoughts on the four-day affair at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard, their plans for next year, and more during a Twitch Q&A.
Questions and answers have been edited for clarity and conciseness.
Beck and Hutson on development camp:
OB: It was a ton of fun. I mean it's one of a kind, really. You come out of Junior, and you don't know what to expect at development camp. Everything's just done right with the Canadiens. So, I was super honored to be here and had a lot of fun.

LH: This is obviously a very storied organization. Lots of history, lots of Stanley Cups here. I couldn't be happier being here and a part of the skills and scrimmages and all. It's exciting times here.
Beck on working with Marie-Philip Poulin:
It's amazing. She's an icon in women's hockey and the number of things she's done to grow the game, and what she can do for us here on the ice is unbelievable. Having one simple conversation with her is fantastic and you learn so much from it.
Beck and Hutson on learning from Adam Nicholas:
OB: He does everything he can to help us get better. You know, he puts 100% effort in and is really down to the details with everything that we do. So, it's been a lot of fun working with him. I felt like I've learned so much this week.
LH: He's a very talented skills coach. He gives everyone a different perspective on the game. He thinks about the game differently and it's cool because there are so many ways to think about the game, and he thinks at an elite level. He's sharing what he knows and it's good for all of us.

Beck on aspects of his game he wants to improve:
One of the things that I want to work on is integrating more physicality into my game consistently. In Mississauga, I was doing it in the later part of the year a little bit more, and it was working for me. I was creating time and space, and it was creating time for my teammates. So, it's something that I want to add to my game and something that I think will benefit me a lot.
Hutson on where he is playing next year:
I'll be going to Boston University this Fall. It's exciting!
Beck and Hutson on their nicknames:
OB: I've heard "Becker" quite a bit.
LH: My teammates last year would call me "Hutty". A few of them called me "Sneaky" because they think I'm a little sneaky on the ice.

Beck and Hutson on NHL players they compare themselves to:
OB: I like to play like Bo Horvat. I think he's a great skater, a great faceoff guy, a solid two-way forward and he plays the game the right way. I feel like we have a lot of similar qualities.
LH: I've loved watching Adam Fox the past few years. He's a guy who sees the ice really well and is super deceptive. He looks one way and can pass back the other way. I also like to find some of the plays he can make and he's not a slouch defensively. So, it's exciting for me to watch him and try to pick things from his game.
