MONTREAL -- The Canadiens (0-4-1) enter the closing stretch of their preseason on Tuesday with the first of three consecutive games against Ottawa (1-4-0) to wrap up training camp.

Here's what you need to know heading into the game:
1. The Habs are winless in exhibition action this fall and will be looking to reverse their fortunes on home ice before traveling to Newfoundland and New Brunswick later this week for the team's final two tune-ups. On Monday, the Canadiens dropped a 5-1 decision to the visiting Maple Leafs. Jonathan Drouin was Montreal's lone goalscorer in the contest, and first-overall pick Juraj Slafkovsky notably picked up his first preseason point on the play. Goaltender Jake Allen played the entire game, turning aside 26 of the 31 shots he faced.

Tuesday's lineup
will see captain Nick Suzuki in uniform for the first time this preseason. At morning skate, Suzuki centered a line with Cole Caufield and Slafkovsky.

  1. The Senators were last in action Saturday, when they played host to the Canadiens in the nation's capital. Ottawa stormed back from a 4-2 third-period deficit to force OT, before eventually winning it off the stick of Alex DeBrincat 59 seconds into the extra frame - his second of the night. The Sens are currently in a three-way tie as the second-highest scoring team this preseason, with 16 goals in five games. Tyler Motte and Shane Pinto are the team's leading scorers with five points in three games each.
    4. The Habs will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Canadian 1972 Summit Series team at the Bell Centre on Tuesday. Members of the iconic squad will be on-hand to address the media prior to puck drop and honored with a ceremony during the first period.
