Here's everything you need to know heading into Game 4:
Looking back
Dominique Ducharme's squad delivered another solid performance on Sunday night, posting a 5-1 win over the Jets and taking a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. Forwards Corey Perry, Artturi Lehkonen, Joel Armia (2 goals) and Nick Suzuki lit the lamp for Montreal. For his part, goaltender Carey Price stopped 26 of 27 shots to register his seventh win of the playoffs.

It was the first time since 1993 that the Canadiens won six consecutive postseason games. Montreal last won the Stanley Cup that year, of course.
The Habs also haven't trailed for 376:14, which represents the fifth longest period in NHL playoff history. Montreal previously set the record in 1960 when they didn't trail for 488:38 of play.

Solid production:Perry, Eric Staal and Joel Armia might be known as the Canadiens' fourth line, but they've been the club's most productive trio in the playoffs. The three forwards have combined for 20 points (8 goals, 12 assists) in 10 games. Staal leads the way with seven points (1 goal, 6 assists). His six assists is tops on the roster. For his part, Armia leads the line with four goals. Perry, meanwhile, scored the 44th playoff goal of his career on Sunday in his 155th postseason game. The former first-round selection of the Anaheim Ducks has six points in his last eight games.

A constant threat:The Canadiens were the most dangerous team during the regular season while short-handed, scoring nine goals under those circumstances. That has carried over into the playoffs. For a second straight game, Ducharme's troops managed to solve goaltender Connor Hellebuyck while down a man. Armia scored two short-handed goals on Sunday, upping the Habs' total to four. In doing so, Montreal matched the franchise record set in 1986. Armia became the first player to score two short-handed goals in a single playoff game since forward Dustin Brown of the Los Angeles Kings accomplished the feat in 2012.

Back to work:Following Sunday night's win, Ducharme mentioned that Price should be back between the pipes for a second game in as many nights. Over the course of his career, the Anahim Lake, BC native boasts a 3-3 record and a .914 save percentage in the tail end of a back-to-back set in the playoffs. Price and the Habs were blanked 4-0 on May 25 by the Toronto Maple Leafs when they last closed out a back-to-back set. Price's last postseason victory in the second game of a back-to-back was on August 19, 2020 against the Philadelphia Flyers. The Canadiens secured a 5-3 victory and Price stopped 26 of 29 shots.

At the other end
After sweeping the Edmonton Oilers in four games in the opening round, the Jets could suffer the same fate this time around at the hands of the Canadiens. Paul Maurice's contingent is facing elimination on Monday night. Winnipeg must find ways to solve Price in order to stay alive. Centreman Adam Lowry was the lone player to beat the Habs' starter in the Game 3 defeat.

Searching for goals:The Jets have scored only four goals in three games against the Canadiens. Winnipeg's snipers need to step up if they hope to stave off elimination. On Sunday night, forwards Mason Appleton and Mathieu Perreault collected their first assists of the playoffs on Lowry's tally. Appleton's helper was also his first ever in the postseason. Winnipeg will also need contributions from their depth players as well. Lowry (2 goals), Kyle Connor and Derek Forbort have been the lone troops to score on Price since the series began.
A first for Connor:Like Price, Hellebuyck should be back at work on Monday night. Even if the Commerce, MI native was the most utilized goaltender in the regular season, participating in 45 of 56 games, Hellebuyck hasn't played back-to-back games this year. The former fifth-round selection of the Jets has a 1-1 record and a .887 save percentage in the second game of a back-to-back in the postseason. The Jets and Hellebuyck earned a 4-3 overtime victory over the Oilers when the two teams battled for the second time in a 24-hour span. The 28-year-old goaltender turned aside 37 of 40 shots.
